This cat is now the matriarch of a family that lives behind my building. This is a picture of her the first time I met her, last year. She curled around our legs but wouldn't let you pet her, I'd say she's about 3/5ths wild.

We had a number of feral cats around my apt. complex several years ago. One of them would not let me touch her but when she got to the point of rubbing against me, I would put my hand down and slightly pet her. If she couldn't see me touching her, it was ok, but if she saw me go to pet her, she ran. It did take quite a while for her to get used to me and finally was able to allow me to become a trusted friend. Thanks for all your great photos...you sure seem to love all those furry friends.
